Data Vault’s Data Storage System is a unique alternative to
traditional backup methods, replacing conventional tape
based systems with a fully
automated online
solution. Data Vault uses an agentless state of the art
system to schedule and
perform enterprise, network, server and PC backup. DVC’s agentless system detects and records only block level
changes, thereby reducing the amount of data which is
required to be transmitted daily for backup.
Data Vault’s online network backup system automatically and
securely backs up all your data -- including the
mission-critical data (operating
systems, application & data) stored on Servers, PCs and
laptops across your LAN. The data is compressed and
encrypted onsite and transmitted via the Internet to Data Vault where it is stored. Data
files are available 24 hours a day in the event restoration
is needed. Large data restores to support disaster recovery
are managed by strict service level agreements with the
customers.
Network Backups:
Our Agentless Architecture system does not require
you to install software agents on all computers being the
backed up. Thanks to Data Vault's "agentless" architecture,
you only need one computer on the network to run the
backup/restore software. The on-site
backup server will collect data from all devices on the
network, process the data and send it to Data Vault’s remote
data storage center.
Datavaulting is online, off-site
backup of all your corporate data assets, eliminating the
need for manual tape backups. Backing up mail, print and
database servers in addition to user desktops and laptops
with Data Vault dramatically reduces the time to restore and
removes anxiety about the unreliability of damaged, lost or
corrupted magnetic tapes.
Data Vault is an off-site, on line, real-time
network backup & restore service. We protect a company’s
entire enterprise including workstations, file servers,
databases, and email systems. Our service eliminates the
need for manual tape backups. Secure remote backups and
restores are performed by DVC using the Internet or through
dedicated communication. Our strict data management
practices, coupled with our automatic (i.e. no human
intervention) off-site storage, positively impacts our
customers’ disaster recovery/business continuity strategy.
Pricing based on data, not servers.
While many backup products charge per agent or per server
for server-specific backup and recovery, Data Vault’s
pricing is solely based on the amount of data to be
protected. This gives you the most granular protection
available, without the excessive licensing management and
