How does Data Vault Storage Solutions protect your data?

Secure remote backups and restores are performed by DVSS using any broadband IP communication connection, including private lines or the Internet. Our customer's data is safely vaulted in Data Vault’s secure, fault tolerant datacenter, which feature redundancy for all critical systems including power, environmental and connectivity. Our strict data management practices, coupled with the fact that our customer's data is delivered offsite automatically, with no human intervention, ensures that company critical data is available 24x7 in the event of disaster, large or small. The data is compressed and encrypted onsite and transmitted via the Internet to the DVSS’s data storage center where it is stored.

Monitoring of Backup Data

DVSS personnel monitor the health of backups, ensuring that all of a customer’s data is collected on schedule. When DVSS monitoring personnel discover unexpected behavior, the customer is contacted and advised of the findings and advised on remedial action. DVSS has a vested interest in ensuring that data backups are performed predictably and successfully and will endeavor to proactively assist our customers in taking appropriate action to improve the quality of backups at all times. You will also receive an e-mail notification showing the status of each backup.

How does Data Vault Storage Solutions restore your data when needed?

Data Vault service has three levels of restoration and puts you in charge of what you restore and when. The service gives you control, through a graphical user interface, to immediately restore individual files, folders or emails, or request fast restores of entire volumes of lost data up to a complete restore of all company data due to a total IT outage.
