Because of the sophisticated compression and FastBit technologies used by Data Vault Corp, users can expect to see a significant reduction in data size between what is on their system and what is actually stored at our data storage center.  While compression rates will vary based on the configurations chosen and the data being backed up, reductions of 5:1 are common.

Our pricing plans are based on the compressed data stored on our system.  The following factors will determine the growth and size of your data storage requirements:

• The types of files backed up
• The number of backups retained online
• The amount of changed data between backups

Data Vault's online backup will back up any computer that the operating system can see as a mapped (shared) drive letter. For example, if you have have four workstations and one file server, you can backup all five computers up with one account.

You can backup data on ANY operating system that Windows can see as a  mapped drive. This means that you can backup Unix data, Macintosh, AS400, etc.

Data Vault provides onsite assistance within our service area. Services provided:
