How does Data Vault store and protect my
data?
Data Vault knows the value of high quality equipment. All of our
equipment is fully redundant, power-protected and fault-tolerant. We
store redundant copies of your data, our facility is secured with
high-level security systems, 7 days a week. We protect our servers
from network intrusion, by using multiple firewall systems.
How is my data secured?
The two primary security measures Data Vault employs are (1) limiting
access to your data to authorized users by password authorization; and
(2) encrypting your data prior to transmission and storing it in an
encrypted state.
How Secure is Data Vault's Remote Backup System?
Data Vault's Remote Backup System compresses
and encrypts your data before transmitting it to our storage
facility. Only you, the client knows the encryption "key." The key is
not transmitted the your data. Your data cannot be viewed, decrypted, or
used in any way without the key.
